Visit to the exhibition. Duration: 60 minutes
Literally, light is essential in order to see; conceptually, light is ephemeral or invisible; and scientifically, light exists as both a particle and a wave. Curated by Susan Davidson and Raneem Farsi, Light Upon Light includes 30 masterworks of light art from 1960s to the present, divided into four sectional “rays” that survey light as an artistic medium: “Perceiving Light”, “Experiencing Light”, “Projecting Light”, and “Environmental Light”. The exhibition features 11 Saudi artists and 19 artists from around the world.
